Phase I COMPLETE!

Thank you for your generous contributions to the gift card drive! For those who participated, the DDD will be Wednesday February 12th. We are accepting donations of beer, wine, and liquor for the event, and for every $22 worth of libations you contribute, you will earn 1 volunteer hour.  Please reach out to Michelle A if you would like to donate! Our Resource Teachers are hosting a Parent University about "Hard Conversations with Kids" (e.g., school shootings, depressions, peer pressure) on 11 Feb (Tue) at 8am in the Cafeteria with muffins & coffee or 7pm online. To RSVP (by 7 Feb) or read about it, please see below.

2nd - 5th graders are invited to attend Homework Hour (Mon-Thr, 3:20pm - 4:20pm) with Mrs. Parente and Mr. Biehler for $20 a session. Link to register is below.

A 7th grade class (7-6) is collecting money for the Red Cross to support people who lost their homes due to the California wildfires. They are accepting cash (in in bags in each homeroom) or you can pay with credit card via FACTS (https://payit.nelnet.net/form/WZw2zl8T). This Catholic Schools Week, please consider helping those in crisis. Thank you.

STM will be very busy during Catholic Schools Week (CSW) 26-31 Jan (Sun-Fri)! Our Open House is Sunday (10am-12pm), the Bishop will visit Monday, there is a dress down day (DDD) Tuesday, etc. To keep track of all the activities, we recommend printing out the attached flyer.

CSW Book Fair is open: 30 Jan (8:15am - 4:40pm) and 31 Jan (8:15am - 9:30am).
Volunteers still needed.

STM is partnering with Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Northern Virginia to collect new and gently used books for local schools (e.g., Arlington Even Start Family Literacy, Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary, Family Education Center, Swanson Middle School HILT Program) with underserved communities.

STM is hosting STEM and art summer camps (Mon-Fri): 7-11 July, 14-18 July, 21-25 July, 28 July-1 Aug, and 4-8 Aug with Club SciKidz and Doodles Dynamo. Links for registration and FAQs are below.

Mark your calendars! Our 8th grade will perform Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" play on 15 May (Thr) at Bishop Ireton High School. Auditions and rehearsals start in February.
