Adults who were Baptized Catholic and received First Communion, but were not Confirmed, can be Confirmed in the Cathedral on 8 June, if they attend 4 Monday meetings on 28 Apr, 5 May, 12 May, and 19 May from 7pm - 8pm. A flyer with details and the POC are below.

Bishop Burbidge invites all middle schoolers to join him at BASH 2025 at Bishop O'Connell on 10 May (Sat)! Although BASH is 3:30pm-8:30pm, this does not include travel time to/from DJO. BASH includes music, games, inspirational speakers, confessions, and a Vigil Mass with Bishop Burbidge. BASH is the Diocese's largest gathering of middle school students. They are expecting over 1,000 students! ALL participants' permission slips must be submitted to Mr. Benjamin Paczak at least 3 days prior to BASH. Join hundreds from across the Diocese for a day of faith and fun! Bishop Burbidge will conduct 9am Mass at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Fredericksburg. After Mass, we will head to Kings Dominion and be ready to go when gates open at 11am! Tickets are only $38.50 and also include Soak City. The link register and POC are below.

The Diocese's Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), which is working to increase communication between the Bishop and families with special needs, is looking for participation in its survey below if you have a child with special needs. Responses will remain confidential.

There is still time to sign up to volunteer for Vacation Bible School (VBS) the mornings of 23 - 27 Jun (Mon - Fri).  Rising 7th to 12th graders and fully-compliant adults (i.e., background check and then VIRTUS) are invited to volunteer as camp staff.

STM is hosting STEM and art summer camps (Mon-Fri): 7-11 July, 14-18 July, 21-25 July, 28 July-1 Aug, and 4-8 Aug with Club SciKidz and Doodles Dynamo. Links for registration and FAQs are below.

Camp St. Charles, a Catholic-based summer camp founded in 1952, in Newburg, MD - 50 miles southeast of D.C. (directly across the Potomac from Fredericksburg) is accepting registration for families with 1st-8th graders. The camp is on a peninsula on the Potomac, has horse-riding, has canoes, etc. Links to their website and an overview videos are below.
