Welcome to Mrs. Parente's First Grade!

Welcome to our First Grade family! My name is  Mrs. Parente, and I’m originally from Bethesda, MD. I have a daughter, Madeleine, and a son, John, who are currently in STM's fourth and fifth grades. As a military family, we have lived worldwide and most recently moved from sunny Coronado, CA. 

I love to travel and have lived in Paris, France, and Japan. My alma mater is Georgetown University. Hoya Saxa! I’m passionate about children and teaching and have enjoyed a career in early education for the past seven years.  This will be my second year teaching first grade at STM. I also love the beach, running, and speaking French.

I’m thrilled to be at STM and look forward to watching our Room 11 family grow spiritually, socially, and academically this year.
