I’m thrilled to be teaching middle school math and social studies at St. Thomas More next year! I currently live in Arlington with my wife Julia, and our daughters, Margo and Hayden. I attended Duke University where I graduated with an Economics degree. After Duke, I worked at a Kaplan tutoring center and then spent four incredibly rewarding years as a middle school math and U.S. History teacher at Alexandria Country Day School.
Following ACDS, I worked for an education technology company called EverFi where I supported teachers who were implementing our online learning courses. Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with students again through a religious education job at Our Lady Queen of Peace and a tutoring role in Falls Church City Public Schools, and both experiences made me realize I wanted to return to the classroom full time. As a teacher, I strive to help all students enjoy school, develop a growth mindset and reach their potential. I also hope all my students, including myself, can continue to grow spiritually as we try to become better, more compassionate, versions of ourselves.
