Hello! My name is Elizabeth James and I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. We are arriving in Virginia via Bratislava, Slovakia, where my husband, Will, has been serving as the Bilateral Affairs Officer on behalf of the Army. I have a bachelor’s degree in history as well as a master’s degree in secondary education from Indiana University. In my previous teaching posts I have taught middle school Cultural Studies, Writing, and Literature, as well as AP Human Geography, AP World History, and US History at the high school level. I will be joined at St. Thomas More by our son, Malcolm, who will be in fifth grade and our daughter, Lucy, who will be in first grade. We all look forward to becoming part of the STM community!
