Parents - We are in need of Welcome Committee volunteers for the following grades:
No volunteers: PreK, 2nd, 4th and 5th
One volunteer: 1st, 6th and 7th
Full: Kinder, 3rd and 8th
*Two volunteers needed per grade.
Please consider volunteering. It's not a heavy lift and makes a HUGE difference for our new families.

One of the best things about STM is our incredible parent community. We want new families to feel supported as they transition to their new school. Welcome Committee volunteers ensure new families have a successful start at STM.
Volunteers work closely with the school office and will need to:

Communicate via email with new families in the same grade level throughout the summer - answer questions and be a friendly source of information.

Plan at least one back to school social for your grade during the summer. (This can be an easy park/playground gathering).
Volunteers will earn 10 PTO hours applicable toward the 2024-2025 school year.
