My father played for the greatest coach of all time, Vince Lombardi. He told his Packer players all the time that football is just a little part of their life so you better find something you love to do and do it to the best of your ability. My father found his passion in teaching and coaching youth sports. He has been running a youth sports program in Salisbury, MD for the past forty years and he has passed on that love of teaching to me.
I pride myself on making P.E. fun and meaningful for both the athletic and non-athletic alike. My goal is to come to work every day with a positive mental attitude knowing that, on this day, I may alter a student’s attitude toward a healthier lifestyle with consistent physical activity that may change a life forever.
I have been teaching for over 20 years, mostly in high school at Bishop O'Connell and Elizabeth Seton. I spent last year teaching at Westminster School in Annandale. I have also been a varsity head basketball coach for 12 seasons.
I love teaching and coaching and I hope your son or daughter will love P.E. more when they leave than when they started.
