It has been wonderful to see so many parent volunteers come in this week to begin Junior Achievement. The kids LOVE it, and thus far, the parents have been smiling when they leave. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time and talent you are investing into this.
Scantron is finished for almost all, with a few makeup exams for students who have been absent. Final scores for grades 2-7 will be sent home in report cards. Please note: these scores are used to inform instruction and note growth throughout the classroom. At STM, we truly believe that every child's knowledge is measured in a multitude of different ways. Scantron Performance Series is one of the ways students demonstrate what they have learned!
What better way to enrich our curriculum than with field trips! This month is filled with them and the delight of the children in experiencing what they have learned is so evident.
All in all, it continues to be an amazing year of learning at STM. I look forward to wrapping it up, but remind you that the work continues until the very last day of school!
