Hola! My name is Maureen Arroyo and I have been teaching at St. Thomas More since 1977. I taught Kindergarten and First grade for 46 years before retiring in 2009. For the past ten years I have been teaching Spanish to Grades PreK - 3 grade on a part time basis! I have also been on the Extended Day staff since 1993. Presently, I work the morning extended day hour.
I am a graduate of Immaculata University in suburban Philadelphia! You might remember the movie "The Mighty Macs", first women's NCAA basketball champions in 1972! I have taught to date on three continents. My two girls were STM alums! I have five grandchildren, two in San Francisco and three here in Northern Virginia. "Let the little children come to me!"
