Is My Child Well Enough for School?
Please remember that when you complete Magnus each morning you are attesting that your child is well prior to the start of the school day. The frequency of 8:30 am clinic visits is increasing. If your child is experiencing symptoms of illness such as sore throat, headache, coughing, rhinitis (runny and/or "stuffy" nose), stomachache, nausea, or diarrhea, the most comfortable thing for your child, his or her teachers and his or her classmates, is to keep them home and have them assessed by a health care provider. Thank you for your attention to this.

Updates to Quarantine Policies
The RAMP Committee unanimously agreed to update quarantine policies for STM going forward. From now on, unvaccinated students who are identified as close contacts of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, may return on day 6, with a negative lab (rapid or PCR) test on day 5 after exposure (day 0). This change better aligns STM policy with guidelines from CDC and VDH.
