STM 5th Graders, Aurelia Wright, Maria Dozier, Bella Enriquez and Gilsie Urbano read "Hungry Right Here?" by Cynthia Kennedy Henzel detailing the hunger crisis in America. They were so moved by what they read that they wanted to make a difference. After blogging, brainstorming and writing letters to Mrs. Davis, they spent their free time during Easter Break creating paintings and then sold them to raise funds for the Mobile Market at the Cathedral. They presented Father Posey and Mrs. Davis with a check for $300 to support needy families in our community.
